# Sovereign AI environment

Designed, run and maintained by [Mark Padginton](person.md). A working environment, not a demo.

## Standards in use

- **Agent2Agent (A2A)** — autonomous agents discovering one another and delegating work across hosts over mutually authenticated TLS
- **Open Knowledge Format (OKF)** — portable, vendor-neutral knowledge and agent memory, not locked inside a single platform
- **Model Context Protocol (MCP)** — tooling, local model serving, and retrieval over a governed knowledge vault
- **Local-first, data-sovereign design** — inference on owned infrastructure; relevant to regulated buyers with data residency, privacy and security obligations

## Why it matters commercially

Buyers in regulated sectors are being asked to evaluate agentic systems, data residency and model
governance. Having built these things, he can tell an architect what is involved and a procurement
lead what it costs to run.
